Stranglehold Demo is a free-to-play video game demo developed by Midway Home Entertainment Inc., released in 2007. The demo allows players to explore the world of Stranglehold, a third-person action game set in Hong Kong.
The game follows Inspector Tequila, a Hong Kong police officer, as he fights organized crime in the city. Players can experience Tequila's unique take on combat, which involves combining acrobatic moves with gunplay to defeat enemies.
- In the demo, players can take on two levels from the full game: Wong's Estate and Tai O.
- Wong's Estate is a luxurious mansion, full of secret passages and armed guards. Players must fight their way through the estate to reach Wong himself.
- Tai O is a fishing village that has been taken over by gangsters. Players must clear out the village and defeat its leaders.
The demo features both Single Player and Time Attack modes. Single Player mode allows players to explore the levels at their own pace and discover all of their hidden secrets. Time Attack mode challenges players to complete the levels as quickly as possible, competing against their friends for high scores.
